What do you get when you take two opinionated, average, everyday guys and hand them radio equipment? You get Brainstu Radio. This “say it like it is” talk/rock radio show is guaranteed to get your blood pumping, heart racing and adrenaline flowing! Show topics range anywhere from current events, the local, national, and global music scene, discussing the high and low points of television, sports, news, as well as our own personal stories. On top of all that goodness, our music selection ranges from hard rock, classic rock, metal, and even some hip-hop.

“Dumb-Ass Of The Week”: The title say’s it all. We look at all of the news stories from the week and we pick the one story that we find to be the dumbest thing we saw all week. Whether it be a dumb criminal, silly law suit, or even ourselves, we pick the one person who we think is the least intelligent fellow of that particular week.

“Wingate-Aroke”: Wingate has a very unique lisp to his voice. We thought it would be fun to have him sing various songs. Hilarity happens as soon as he sings the first note.

“This Week In Sports With Mike Falcone”: The title explains it all. Mike takes the news from the week in sports and compiles it into a ten minute report/rant/trash talking fest.

SHOW STAFF BIOS:

Hammy: Hammy is the child faced producer of the show. On top of his freakishly obsessive man crush on Brett Favre, he enjoys music, his “Jesus” sandals, getting harassed and pulled over by the local Police, and fire print button up shirts while taking Myspace pics that make him look like a club hopping “guido”. Hammy is a fan of the Green Bay Packers, New York Yankees, and New Jersey Devils. He is also trying to start a music engineer career which so far he has recorded song’s for several local artist’s as well as a concert by a house band on the rooftop of EMI records in New York City. Aside from that, he also likes to collect Transformers and comic book figures.

Mike: Mike is a kind young chap from Jefferson Township, New Jersey who is looking to become a radio personality and a stand up comedian. He hasn’t gotten the quick witted part down yet, but damnit, He’s trying to! Mike is an avid (obsessed) fan of Mixed Martial Arts and sports in general. He is a fan of the New York Yankees, San Francisco 49ers, Chicago Bulls, and New York Rangers.

To be honest, the guys on The EDGE are just like you. Guys in their twenties and thirties with an off-the-cuff sense of humor and an interest in what goes on in the world around them. Even if you’re a woman, these guys may just help you to see that not all men are total morons (or it may help that misconception, you tell us).

Every Saturday night for three hours beginning at 9pm eastern, Mike (of ‘The EDGE’) expands his lineup of music shows with a program that’s focused on hit music with a pulse. Focusing on today’s hit music with a sprinkling of rhythmic hits from the 80s and 90s, ‘The Bounce’ is a show that you can just get up and dance to. On regular radio, you’ll hear today’s hit music… the same 30 songs pounded over and over (we’re looking at you, NY’s Z100 and LA’s KIIS-FM). Then there are some stations that play rhythmic hits, but no current dance (NY’s WKTU)… then for current dance, you’re pretty much out of luck.

That’s where ‘The Bounce’ comes in… taking today’s hits (Kanye West, Lady GaGa, Rihanna, TI, Jason DeRulo, Justin Bieber, etc), some of today’s best dance (David Guetta, AnnaGrace, September, Kim Sozzi, Cascada, etc) and a smattering of classic rhythmic hits (Cynthia, TKA, Stevie B., The Cover Girls, Color Me Badd, New Kids on the Block, etc) and just jamming it all into a three hour timeslot.

Hey, let’s face it… Mike can’t dance.. but he’s spinning some of the best tunes that can help you to get up and do just that. In fact, he encourages you to do so. There is one catch however… he actually cares about your dignity, so he advises you that if you DO dance… to do it where no one can see you. Really, it’s for your own well-being.

So to sum this up… if you’re someone whos into music that can make you at least bop your head or dance in your own chair, ‘The Bounce’ is for you… playing nothing but hit music with a pulse.
