As we announced last week, ‘The EDGE’ debuted last week on our new partner, radiomaxmusic.com. Last week, we were simulcasted on Wednesday night LIVE (we didn’t know that until afterward) and our show was replayed at the Friday night 10pm eastern timeslot we announced. This morning, we (Sal and myself) recieved an email from our buddy Ron highlighting the top ten most listened to shows on RadioMaxMusic last week. So, here’s the list…
1. Steve Whitlock – Latebit Show [May 6, 2009]
2. Ron Kovacs – Eclectic Radio [May 10, 2009]
3. Joey Prout – Sock Hop Soda Shoppe [May 10, 2009]
4. Mike & Sal – The Edge [May 8, 2009]
5. Dan Varroney – May 10, 2009
6. Willie B – Vinyl Resting Place [1977]
7. Bob Shannon – Across The Tracks
8. Len Davies – Magical History Tour [May 9, 2009]
9. Julian Little – Jules Dance Show [May 2, 2009]
10. Dominic Forbes – Soft Rock Classics Show [May 5, 2009]
See that bolded entry at number four? Yup, so do we… our debut on RadioMaxMusic had us at the number four most listened to show last week. For us, that’s a pretty cool feeling… but at the same time, we need to be real. Our arrival was posted on the site and mentioned on the station so it probably had a little bit of hype behind it.
Maybe I’m just being pessimistic, but I figure that people were maybe just sampling us to see what the ‘hype’ was about. We’ll continue to strive to expand our audience and deliver the programming that we have been since day one. I’d just like to thank Ron Kovacs (the guy who runs RadioMaxMusic) for giving us this opportunity and to all of the people on his site and right here at EDGE FM who join us live every week and download our shows for sticking with us.
We encourage all of you to check out the programming over at RadioMaxMusic.. there is so much variety over there that it’s insane. Then he’s got all of these music shows (we’re the only talk show right now) piled on top of it making for a pretty cool listen. The show that’s at number one.. that’s a show that plays love songs and other features and on Friday night it airs right after we do from Midnight to 2AM eastern.
