SORRY!!!!

Sorry we couldn’t do a show tonight …

Today was my first day of class and I arrived home later than I expected. I was carrying alot of equipments and books for school so that slowed my walk home.

Last week my cell phone was stolen so I couldn’t communicate with Mike or Supervixen … BUMMER! Plus, Mike didn’t think to contact Supervixen to see what could have been announced … YOU SUCK SINGH! lol … Either way there wouldn’t be a show since Mike is sick and his voice is raspy.

Hopefully by next week we will do a show with our new time, 11 pm Est.

Again, really SORRY!

Have a goodnight!

Patrick Swayze Has Left the Dance Floor

It’s a bittersweet day for those of us here at EDGE FM and especially ‘The EDGE’. It was announced tonight that ‘Ghost’ and ‘Dirty Dancing’ star Patrick Swayze passed away tonight at the age of 57 after his battle with pancreatic cancer. Here’s the quote from CNN -

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) — Patrick Swayze, whose good looks and sympathetic performances in films such as “Dirty Dancing” and “Ghost” made him a romantic idol to millions, died Monday, his publicist said, according to CNN affiliate KTLA. Swayze was 57.

Swayze died after a battle with pancreatic cancer. His doctor, Dr. George Fisher, revealed in early March 2008 that Swayze was suffering from the disease.

Swayze “passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months,” his publicist, Annett Wolf, said a statement released Monday evening, according to KTLA.

It’s been a long road… Sal and myself of ‘The EDGE’ have closely followed Swayze’s battle since March of 2008 when he went public with it. We’ve rooted him to finding peace ever since with that faithful day… and now it seems he has found it. RIP, Patty.. thanks for the show material and an entertaining career.
