The Edge 11/18 Recap

We had a packed show, and a packed chat room this week. It was a lot of fun though. Thanks to JV for joining us calling in, and joining us in the chat.

You can download the show HERE

Why do we talk about Def Leppard, Russian kiosks, stuffed giraffes?

Above is the “explanation” for our show… for the people that requested it.

Here’s some stuff you missed…

11/18 This Day In History 1978 (Mike’s home land) -
The Jonestown Massacre Jonestown incident: In Guyana, Jim Jones leads his Peoples Temple cult in a mass murder-suicide that claims 918 lives in all, 909 of them at Jonestown itself, including over 270 children. Congressman Leo J. Ryan is assassinated by members of Peoples Temple shortly beforehand.

(What’s written above could happen again. JV’s fans in our chat tonight would drink JV’s Kool-Aid, his cum, his piss, or even his twice-used douche water.)

- Horny drunk man tries twice, to steal stuffed giraffe from toy store
- Tampa man calls 911 for sex
- Glossary Of Racism- Letters K and L

- Def Leppard drummer, defends himself from Sal’s barrage on Twitter
- RJ still hasn’t reached out to The Edge. Ren thinks “could be another grandfather.”

- Speaking of Ren, he’s going back to school to pick up cheerleaders

- Misinterpreted song lyrics – Def Leppard songs
- WNEW Behind The Hits: Journey- Don’t Stop Believin’

- Tonight’s Relationship Talk: Who Are More Complicated? Men or woman?

Our new corespondent blogged about this, and some of our listeners chimed in…

-Laura

well men never say how they feel, and they hold a grudge, they don’t show any signs, there not straight up. they hold things in and then get annoyed for no apparent reason, they will let u think they like you when they don’t, they lie.a girl just wants to be wanted we might play games but we make our game playing rather obvious, and we tell you how we feel for the most part, and we might ignore you or be fake mad at you but its just too see how u react and we’ll get over it in a few days usually.

-Ron Kovacs (RadioMax Music)

Sure – As the “77 Year Old Fuck” in the mix and being married twice I will tell you that women are very difficult to understand and indeed are VERY fucking complicated. You are either in their way or not paying enough attention. Just when you think you are “ok” another complicated mood, comment, gesture, feeling, opinion, or thought comes out of nowhere and you are once again the asshole or dick.
As long as Men follow the imaginary line or can I say leash, you are good. But don’t express an opinion as you start the wheel of complication and eventually you wonder in private, why don’t I just right hook this bitch.

- Brittany

women are more complicated, when they go shopping for eggs, come out with milk, tampons, hair spray, gum. guys come right out with whatever they walked in for. women want a relationship.. but beat around the bush, & hold on.. when a dudes like look.. i just want sex.. this time and this night. point blank period. & we try and change dudes..

- Jacqueline

Well, although both are extremely difficult to deal with, I would have to say that women might be a little more complicated. I usually know what to expect from the guys in my life, but the gals are more of a wild card. Sometimes we wanna be taken care of yet we want to be independent. At times we like to be loved and cuddled but than we want our personal space. There is no rhyme or reason why we change our minds, we just do and u boys are forced to deal with it.

-Frank

When it comes to relationships, men are easy as can be. Women are impossible.

- Jimmy

well the character of men and women are definitely complex…men rule the world but women rule men with you know what lol…i say most of the time women seem to be more complicated cause they tend to over analyze a situation and not take it for what it is….men are mostly very simple…beer football and some loving….at other times some women tend to be less analytical while some men over analyze hence your stalker….it will all stem from your upbringing and all your experiences through life that’s why its so complex with over 6billion people in the world…not to mention my answer is more bias in favor of men :)…but in the long run i feel you could spend your whole life trying to figure this out with no solution so i say just take it for what it is and enjoy every second of everyday
