Brainstu Radio Show Rundown: June 21st, 2010

We’re joined in the studio by Chris Hantis, songwriter and musician. He immediately starts talking about Demolition Stereo, a band we were associated with until a year ago when our friends Matt, JM and Jeff said some things.

Chris continues to discuss his new projects and how he and Spencer from Demolition Stereo got in another band and plugs Menace And The Hellfire’s Myspace.

Hammy say’s Wingate is an up and coming musician and play’s the newest “Wingate-Aroke”, Katy Perry’s “I Kissed A Girl”.

Wingate HATED the Marilyn Manson cover of “Tainted Love”. Hammy defends it saying it’s a different take on the classic song.

We talked about the World Cup and the wonderful Vuvuzela’s that are sweeping the nation…

Wingate brings up an article that a NYC councilman say’s it is racist to ban the horns at the World Cup.

Hammy say’s he despises the horns, but say’s they are the greatest thing to annoy someone with.

Mike say’s he is going to order a Vuvuzela and bring it to the show. We throw out an idea to re-do classic songs using a vuvuzela instead of a guitar.

We move on to movie talk, where Chris talked about the movies Teeth and Human Centipede. Mike brings up the new Romeo “Survivor of the Dead” film and they discuss zombie movies. Hammy saw Splice and he say’s he hated it. Hammy brings up getting ripped on on Twitter for loving Toy Story 3.

Hammy brings up Lady Gaga and her recent appearence at Yankee Stadium wearing nothing but a bra, panties and an open Yankees jersey. Hammy complains that celebrities can do anything they want and get away with it. Mike calls Hammy gay for complaining about a half naked woman.

We discuss Reality Addiction, who recently asked us to remove their video from our Youtube account. Hammy say’s while he was annoyed at first, he understands if a band wants good publicity, because our other videos on Youtube aren’t exactly kid friendly.

Chris talks about rock stars claiming to be rock stars that are really just pussies underneath it all.

We discuss celebrity deaths and musician deaths the past year.

Feedback comes in saying the show is off the air. Mike brings up EdgeFM on his laptop and it is playing fine. We admit the show isn’t going that well today and it is a total crash.

Hammy say’s he liked the Menace And The Hellfire song a lot.

Chris plays a song from his solo project. We get calls and feedback saying he wasn’t that good. Chris say’s nobody’s perfect and there are people who will hate on everything. Mike & Hammy say today’s show was a stinker so bad, we don’t even want to finish the show. We thank Chris for coming in and apologize for sucking horribly.

We came back to the show because we never quit a show early for sucking, so why start now.

Wingate brings up a video of Vince the Shamwow guy doing a commercial for Eminem’s new cd “Recovery”.

Someone from Menace And The Hellfire logs into the feedback chat. We think it’s someone fucking with us, but after Hammy reads his IP Address, it isn’t one of our regulars. Hammy admits Chris wasn’t the most exciting guest we had and the first hour of the show was a flop. Hammy goes on to say Chris was an exellent guest when he was in Demolition Stereo and came onto the show. Chris admitted he was drunk that whole time, which explains his different personality today. Hammy say’s he’s not trashing the band and actually likes the music, but doesn’t want another incident like what happened a year ago. Hammy mentions he had an issue with Spencer, the guitar player, but he put that in the past and is over it and actually wouldn’t mind talking to him again.

Wingate mentions Mike talking about a possible fuck buddy on the way to the show. Hammy asks why Wingate didn’t mention this before.

We rip on Mike for being the last resort to a chick because she texts dirty things to him once in a while. We discuss if the girl actually likes Mike or not.

Hammy throws out an open invite to the girl (she supposedly listens to the show) to come on and discuss things with Mike. Hammy promises he won’t be that disgusting with her.

Wingate brings up two “haters” of his sending him several messages through Facebook threatening to beat him up. Hammy points out Wingate sounds a little scared. Wingate shows everybody pics of these guy’s and everyone laughs at him for being afraid to talk back to faggot nerd kids, but not afraid to talk back to John King and Pettiebone, who are much more intimidating then these kids.

Hammy randomly blurts out he dumped a fat chick in High School who is now a model with one of the best body’s Hammy say’s he’s ever seen.

Hammy shows everyone some pics of her. Feedback comes in calling Hammy our “Dumb Ass Of The Week” for dumping this girl.

Mike say’s there is no way he would still be dating her today because she’s this hot.

Mike takes a pic of Hammy’s High School senior year picture and laughs at his perfectly parted hair down the center of his head.

After some more teasing for Hammy dumping a hot girl, we decide to have some fun next week and have an on-air drinking game. We come up with some rules that Hammy will have to take a Jello shot every time Wingate fucks up a word, and Wingate will have to take a shot every time Hammy say’s something racist or hateful. Everyone in feedback agrees it will be funny. Hammy say’s Mike will have to run the board, because he doesn’t trust himself drunk with $300 headphones and the board.
