Talk Radio Meltdown is not your average “comedy podcast.”
Now, when you see/hear the words “comedy podcast,” you might instantly think of a show that consists of a few comedians telling really good jokes for an hour or so every week. Our show is a different sort of podcast.
Each week, we take the best in bizzare current events and try to make you laugh with our commentary. We find the best technology news – be it about computers, video games, cell phones, etc. – and give our two cents; do we love it? Do we hate it? We also find the best in music news, and keep you up to date on the next big thing in the Internet world (for instance, the gentleman who used to be gay, yet is now VERY interested in girls.)
We also give our hosts their own spots to shine during the show… for instance, Kate’s selected news, where we hear about ridiculous things coming from the viewpoint of a woman (who cares about that?) Also, we have the sports news at every half hour during the show, where Wooter recaps everything big that has gone down in the past week.
Taking a note from one of the best comedy podcasts out there on the Internet, talk radio is a hard thing to get in to, especially a free form genre like this. Listen to at least three episodes of the Talk Radio Meltdown. Listen to the first ten minutes of each. You might like us, or you might hate us.
All in all, our sole purpose is to entertain you.
HOSTS
- Jack Gill is your host and self-proclaimed mysoginist. He claims he is always right about everything, yet lacks the most basic of social skills.
- Chris “Fro” Froment is the show’s producer, or at least he thinks he is.
- Dave “Wooter” Wooten handles all of the sports news for the show, a nd acts as the third mic. One of these days, Wooter hopes to find love with something other than his right hand.
- Katie is the woman of the show and reporter of the bizzare news. She has a vagina. If that doesn’t get your attention, then I don’t know what will.
