Details surrounding the death of Amy Winehouse have begun to emerge today, and it has been claimed she purchased a combination of drugs that included cocaine, ecstasy and ketamine late on Friday evening in Camden.
Amy Winehouse Found Dead
As reported by TMZ and the London Mirror, singer, Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London flat. She has long been known for drug abuse, so that is what is speculated. There is not too much else to report yet, and we will keep you updated on the latest developments on this story.
According to a press release by the Metropolitan Police: “Police were called by London Ambulance Service to an address in Camden Square NW1 shortly before 16.05hrs today, Saturday 23 July, following reports of a woman found deceased.
On arrival officers found the body of a 27-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Enquiries continue into the circumstances of the death. At this early stage it is being treated as unexplained.”
Coincidentally, Amy Winehouse’s death this year, adds her to a list of other singers that have died at the age of 27. The list includes the likes of Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, and many others.
