The Filler Show returns from a week off and Koof talks about his visit to Yankee Stadium, the high prices and uneasy feeling around the stadium. Doug let’s us in on his latest mess up with a new chick. Koof saw Boys Don’t Cry, but ignores the title. Rebecca Black is being played on Top 40 Radio. Our guest Skip Haynes doesn’t call us, so we call him to talk about his CD for Dogs, just not Snoop Dogg. Doug’s sister is being Facebook hit on by a semi famous comedian (she has big fake nice tits). Koof saw newly famous Anthony Jeselnik at the Stress Factory. It was a newsless show.

EDGE FM Hangout #1

We did announce it last night on ‘The EDGE’.

Not this Sunday but next (4/5), me and Sal have some business to do with WABC here in NY. SuperVixen (of the Fantasy Vixen Show) suggested we make it into a big meetup and we all figured to have a meetup with whoever can show up. Friends of the shows, employees of EDGE FM and so on are all welcome.

So here’s the scoop -

Place: 2 Penn Plaza/Penn Station & Madison Square Garden (Manhattan, durrr)
When: Sunday 4/5/09
Time: Noon (12pm)
What: Just hanging out, we’ll grab some lunch and see where the afternoon takes us.

The Best Talk Variety

As said many times, EDGE FM is the place to go if you want to hear more talk than you can shake a stick at. Each show on EDGE FM has their own niche or shtick that is sure to interest someone, somewhere.

It begins on Monday nights with The Filler Show, who read off the news, perform great interviews, deliver your pranks and jokes and more. Right after they end off, The Fantasy Vixen Show picks up with a unique perspective on relationships from the point of view of two latina women, one married… the other, not so much.

On Wednesdays, it’s The EDGE w/Mike & Sal, a show with a purpose… which is mainly to inform. The EDGE keeps you up to date on whats going on out there in the real world… and their twist on it… can sometimes either piss you off or enlighten you. They prefer to piss you off. Then, they deliver lifestyle talk which can range from helping you gain confidence, find a new job, play the stock market or even something as simple as to how to pour a good drink.

Thursdays come around with a second helping of The Filler Show, then the weekend hits and the programming week begins once again.

With all of the different topics and point of views that get thrown around and expressed, it’s easy to say that EDGE FM is the place where talk lives… or rules, or something.
