This is going to be a quick article, but I want to be the first here on EDGE FM to congratulate my radio co-host and good friend Sal on the birth of his new son. Noah Christopher Traina was born at 3:58pm eastern time on Saturday July 25th, 2009. The little guy weighed and measured in at 7lbs 10oz, 19.5 inches long.

With the permission of Sal, here’s a picture of the little guy… absolutely adorable.

I want to wish both Sal and Rikki the best for them and their family… both of their children are absolutely adorable and will grow up to be good people.. well, if they take after Rikki. Sal is another story… LOL, I’m kidding.

This is a special edition of The Edge. Mike is out of town, so I will be hosting his first solo show ever. I’m calling it Traina Wreck Radio. Mike wanted to call it Salschwitz, but that’s a little too harsh, don’t you think? The show starts 10PM est.

Mike at the last Edge FM hangout

Another change for this week. I will not be doing a Question Of The Week. Instead, I’ll let you ask questions to me. Anything. Since I’m doing my first solo show, and Mike does most of the talking, I’ll let you ask me ANYTHING, and I promise to answer truthfully. It’s a good way to get to know me better. I’m only doing this once, so take advantage of this.

Do you remember OJ’s slow speed chase? It happened June 17, 1994.

Well, that’s about it for me for about a week. I officially leave for vacation in about six hours from now. If you didn’t hear the news on Wednesday’s show, I leave for Georgia in a little while. We’ll (my family and I) be driving down to Macon, GA to visit some relatives… we’ll be there for about a week.

Being that I’ll be gone, Fantasy Vixen is off this coming Monday and this coming Wednesday will be a solo show with Sal aptly titled ‘Traina Wreck Radio’. I’m not quite sure what he’s got planned yet, but he has said that it could be a ‘Mike Singh Roast’… in the vein of the roasts done on Comedy Central. Gee, I’m excited.. (not really!) LOL

I do plan on calling in since I’ll most likely be doing nothing of importance at that time next Wednesday (probably just lounging around). For those who know my contact info, you know how to reach me… for everyone else, I return on Sunday the 21st… EDGE FM resumes normal programming that Monday. As for ‘The EDGE’, our weekly question and regular segments will resume on the 6/24 show.

With that said, everyone have a great week and I’ll catch you all on the flipside… punching out.
